It's been said that all +Anima have Kimunkle blood in them; but is that really true? There are +Anima that have no connection to the Kimunkle, and the children of +Anima are not +Anima themselves. It is unlikeley to be genetic.
Few people have seen the moment when a person becomes a +Anima. However, we find two common trends from the few times it has been seen. The first is that most become +Anima at the age of 14 or younger. The second; they are almost always extremely close to death.

In a world where select humans have gained the powers of animals, war has broken out between the two most powewrful countries, Asteria and Sailand. The Kimunkle living on Moss Mountain have joined with the Asterian army in an attempt to free their family members from slavery.
The war started when, on multiple occasions, high-ranking Sailand aristocrats refused to remove the chokers from their slaves when visiting Asteria. No one wanted to take the blame, and tensions rose. No one knows exactly when or how it turned into war, but pretty soon the armies of both countries were being deployed.
Now, both countries are looking for a foothold in a war that has leveled out. The Asterian army is trying to recruit +Anima citizens, as well as looking into something known as Art Anima, while Sailand's army is is relying on a mad scientist to produce more +Anima for their army.
Children, +Anima, soldiers, now is your time to blaze a path in this world. Are you for or against slavery? Are you willing to sacrifice your life for a noble cause?
